Hand Cream Favourites

Palmer's Hand CreamI’m forever trying different hand-creams, trying to find the perfect one I suppose but it’s really difficult. The things is, there are times when my hands are seriously dry and in need of some hard-core TLC and that’s when I reach for the L’Occitane Hand Cream I wrote about at Christmas. That particular hand cream takes forever and a day to soak in so it’s a good one for when you’re just sitting watching the telly. Try using a touch screen phone within half hour of using it and it’s covered in a greasy film. It works like a dream though!

Akin Hand CreamOne of my all-time favourites is the Akin Hand Cream and I’ve always got a pot of that on the go somewhere in the house. It’s brilliant.  My daughters all love that one too as as well as smelling gorgeous it sinks in really quickly and makes your hands feel soooooo soft! MyPure is the best site to get it from.

Palmer’s EvenTone Age Spot Hand Cream

Palmer's Eventone Age Spot Hand CreamSomething I’ve become very aware of recently though, being a freckly, fair-skinned type,  are the freckles on the back of my hands. They seem to be morphing before my eyes from a sprinkling of cute little dotty freckles into random ‘splodges’. I had a bit of a ‘google’ around and found Palmers’s Eventone Age Spot Hand Cream. I’ve been using it almost daily for a month now and I think, but am not sure, that there could be a slight fading thing going on?!? The cream has Vitamin E, which is nourishing for the skin and I like too the fact that it contains sunscreen. It’s quite a thick cream and yes it does stay greasy for a bit longer than I’d like – nonetheless I like it. The scent isn’t so much overpowering as just a bit too much, if you know what I mean.

So anyway these are three of my hand cream favourites – they are all very different from each other but right for me at different times!

Mrs C
In a nutshell, I'm a Mum to three gorgeous daughters and two step-sons who are gradually making their own lives and leaving Mr. C and I plenty of time to enjoy life just as a couple again. I'm a big fan of Afternoon Tea & Corrie and hate, with a vengeance, violence in films! I love reading 'proper' books though I concede that my birthday Kindle was brilliant on holidays.
