My Favourite Products

I had so many lovely gifts at Christmas that it’s been a difficult task choosing my favourite products at the moment! I loved the new charms for my pearl Thomas Sabo bracelet which I had from my gorgeous daughters. And the various chocolates bought for me were seriously more than my hips could cope with but hey what’s a girl to do at Christmas. Eating too many chocs is par for the course and I didn’t drink very much at all as I don’t think my cough could have taken it so I wasn’t all bad….

Mr. C bought me my fave Chanel Chance perfume and (1) these lovely handmade soaps from Flour Mills Bath in English Rose, peppermint and sweet orange amongst other scents. Everyone knows how much I love (2) Brazil Nut Body Butter from The Body Shop and I wasn’t disappointed on the big day to see I had some! (3) L’Occitane Hand Cream is always a good bet to give me and this jumbo-sized version will last me for ages. I don’t normally need the dry skin version but at this time of year it’s fine. It takes a bit longer than usual to sink in so I tend to apply it in the nights when I’m sitting watching the telly. I love the smell of the shea-butter – it’s really scrummy.

(4) I adore scented candles and my new fave candle has got to be the best I’ve ever received! It’s from the Isle of Skye Candle Company and it’s in Vanilla & Fig. It smells so good and has the added advantage of being a Natural Soya Wax Candle. Apparently it’s going to burn for around 45 hours so long-lasting too.

(5) Another of my favourite gift sets came from Lola Rose. It consists of Calming Amethyst Body Cream and Shower Gel. Using the two together means I don’t need to wear perfume and I feel like I’ve been in a Spa as that spa-like scent stays with you the whole day. The body cream is really moisturising and feels like a luxury product. I was pleased to see that the products are all Paraben, Sulphate and Petro Chemical Free too as I love things without added nasties.

Happy New Year by the way – I forgot to get round to that….. 🙂

Mrs C
In a nutshell, I'm a Mum to three gorgeous daughters and two step-sons who are gradually making their own lives and leaving Mr. C and I plenty of time to enjoy life just as a couple again. I'm a big fan of Afternoon Tea & Corrie and hate, with a vengeance, violence in films! I love reading 'proper' books though I concede that my birthday Kindle was brilliant on holidays.
